Privacy Policy

Effective date: 8 October 2026

This policy describes how personal information is handled on the website lucidmargin.online. The responsible entity is JustOne s.r.o., Světová 523/1, Libeň, 180 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic, company registration 24160644, VAT number CZ24160644, contactable at info@lucidmargin.online. JustOne s.r.o. decides what appears on this site and what is done with anything received through it.

Personal information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, which the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner publishes at oaic.gov.au/privacy/australian-privacy-principles. Because the site is a reading-only workbook, several of those principles have very little to operate on here, and the sections below say so rather than padding them out.

This policy covers lucidmargin.online and nothing else. The links in the workbook lead to other organisations — government bodies, and a game vendor reached through a paid affiliate link — and each of those sites is governed by its own privacy policy, not by this one.

APP 1 — Open and transparent management of personal information

This page is the whole of that openness. It is published, free to read, carries no login, and states an effective date. Two people within JustOne s.r.o. maintain the site; the handling practices described below are the complete set, not a summary of them. Questions about this policy go to info@lucidmargin.online, and the complaints route is set out near the end.

APP 2 — Anonymity and pseudonymity

You can read every page of this workbook, including the printable checklists, without identifying yourself in any way. Nothing asks for a name. If you write to us, you may use a pseudonym or an address that does not identify you, and your message will still be answered. The one exception is a request for access to or correction of personal information: there, we have to be able to connect the request to the information, so an anonymous request cannot be acted on.

APP 3 — Collection of solicited personal information

Two categories of information exist, and they are the only two.

(a) Server access logs. Our hosting provider records, for each request to the site, the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string identifying your browser and operating system. This is standard web server behaviour and happens for every visitor.

(b) The content of emails sent to info@lucidmargin.online. That means your email address, your name if you give one, whatever you write in the message, and any attachment you choose to send.

Nothing else is collected. There is no form, no input field, no newsletter, no account, no login, no quiz and no progress tracking of any kind — the checklists do not remember which boxes you ticked. There are no cookies, no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no web fonts, no analytics, no advertising tags, no profiling and no cross-site tracking. The site loads no resource from any other server: every page, the single stylesheet and the single script come from lucidmargin.online itself, so your browser is not asked to contact any third party while you read.

APP 4 — Dealing with unsolicited personal information

Occasionally an email contains personal information that was not needed to answer it — documents, screenshots showing other people's details, information about a third party. Where it is lawful and reasonable to do so, that material is deleted or destroyed as soon as it is identified. Where it cannot lawfully be destroyed, it is treated under the rest of this policy as if it had been solicited.

APP 5 — Notification of the collection of personal information

This page is the notification, and it is published before any collection takes place rather than afterwards. It names the entity, says what is collected, why, who receives it, how long it is kept, that it may be stored outside Australia, and how to ask for access, correction or a complaint. If you reach the site, the logging described in APP 3(a) is already the arrangement; if you email us, this page tells you in advance what will happen to the message.

APP 6 — Use or disclosure of personal information

Access logs are used for three purposes: keeping the site secure, identifying and preventing abuse such as automated attacks, and diagnosing faults. Email is used for one purpose: replying to you, and dealing with whatever you raised.

Neither category is used for anything else. Personal information from this site is never sold, rented, traded, or shared with anyone for marketing. It is not used to build a profile of you. It is disclosed outside the two service providers named under "Recipients" only where the law requires it — for example in response to a valid legal process — and in no other circumstances.

APP 7 — Direct marketing

None is carried out. There is no mailing list, no newsletter, no subscription, no promotional email, and no reminder about unfinished steps of the course, because the site has no way of knowing which steps anyone has read. If you email us, your address is used to reply to you and is not added to anything.

APP 8 — Cross-border disclosure of personal information

Two providers receive information: our hosting provider, which holds the access logs, and our email service provider, which holds messages sent to the contact address. Neither is named in this policy, and both may store or process data outside Australia. The location of their servers may be outside Australia, and we do not state a specific country because we are not in a position to guarantee one. Each is engaged under its own terms, which require them to handle the data for the purpose of providing the service and no other.

APP 9 — Adoption, use or disclosure of government related identifiers

This principle has nothing to operate on here: no government related identifier of any kind is adopted, used or disclosed by this site.

APP 10 — Quality of personal information

The only personal information that could be inaccurate is what you have told us in an email. If something you sent was wrong, incomplete or out of date, write and say so and the record will be corrected. Access logs are generated automatically by the web server and are not edited.

APP 11 — Security of personal information

The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the server is encrypted. There is no database behind the site and no stored submissions, because nothing is ever submitted: the site is static files. Access to the hosting account and to the mailbox is limited to people working for JustOne s.r.o., and is protected by individual credentials and multi-factor authentication. Information is deleted at the end of the retention periods below.

No certification, audit or formal standard is claimed for these arrangements, because none has been obtained, and no security measure is described here that is not actually in place.

APP 12 — Access to personal information

You may ask what personal information is held about you. Email info@lucidmargin.online with Privacy request in the subject line. There is no charge for making a request. You will receive a reply within 30 days. In practice the honest answer for most people is that nothing identifying them is held: logs are kept for a short period and are not indexed by person, so unless you have written to us recently there is usually nothing to retrieve.

APP 13 — Correction of personal information

You may ask for personal information about you to be corrected, using the same address and the same subject line, with the same 30-day reply period and no charge. If a correction is refused, you will be told why in writing and told how to complain.

How long each category is kept

Access logs are kept for 30 days and are then deleted by the hosting provider in the ordinary course. Emails are kept for 24 months after the last message in the conversation, and are then deleted, unless a message is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, in which case it is kept until that matter ends.

Affiliate links and what happens when you follow one

Some links in the workbook are paid affiliate links to a game vendor's website. Following one takes you off lucidmargin.online. From that point the vendor's site and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains to record that the visit came from here, and your activity there is governed by their privacy notices, not by this policy. Reading those notices before you create an account is what Step 3 of the workbook is about.

JustOne s.r.o. receives commission reports from the network. Those reports are used only to reconcile payments. We do not seek, request or receive information identifying individual readers from them, and we make no attempt to connect a report to any particular visit.

Complaints

If you believe your privacy has been mishandled by this site, write to info@lucidmargin.online first. You will receive a substantive answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which explains the process at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.

Data breaches

If there is reason to think personal information held in connection with this site has been lost or accessed without authority, the incident is assessed promptly. Where it is likely to result in serious harm, the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner are notified in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Children

This workbook is written for adults and is not directed at people under 16. No information is collected for the purpose of identifying a reader's age, and nothing on the site asks a visitor how old they are. If a young person writes to the contact address, the message is handled under the same rules as any other and deleted on the same schedule.

If you are in the European Union, the EEA or the United Kingdom

JustOne s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the General Data Protection Regulation also applies to this handling. The legal basis for keeping access logs is our legitimate interest in the security, integrity and correct functioning of the site. The legal basis for handling an email is the need to respond to the enquiry you have made. Consent is not relied on as a basis, because there are no cookies and no optional processing to consent to.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection in respect of information about you, exercisable by writing to info@lucidmargin.online. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), at uoou.gov.cz.

Changes to this policy

When this policy is revised, the effective date at the top is updated. Where a change is material, a short note describing it is displayed at the top of this page for 30 days from the new effective date, so that a returning reader can see what moved without comparing versions.
